It’s 7:30pm here on the wonderful west coast. I am in bed. Yes. In bed. If you know me well enough, you’re probably not surprised, but also concerned about my sanity because my bed time isn’t for another two hours. Ok let’s be real, 1.5 hours. Well, I was lucky enough to be sent home from my rotation for the night to sleep in the comfort of my own bed. What a treat.
I’m almost done with my third rotation of my fourth, and final, year of veterinary school. Only five more to go. Jesus take the wheel. My current rotation has been at a wonderful equine veterinary hospital, which I have enjoyed very much, and will be sad to leave on my last day this Friday. HOWEVER, I came down with the plague this weekend after three weeks of being on call 24/7, working 10-18 hour days and doing overnight treatments on inpatients at 10pm, 12am, 2am, 4am and/or 6am and I’ve been feeling like death, so Friday is looking REAL GOOD. But in all honesty it’s been my favorite rotation thus far, despite the crazy schedule, I’ve just been feeling like a hot mess all week.
So yeah. I’m in bed and I ain’t leavin’ these sheets! Don’t judge me…
While I get this blog up and running check out one of my favorite pieces in my shop!
